The session offers valuable insights into what effective
leadership in mathematics education looks like in practice —
highlighting both the challenges faced and the enablers of
success — and how context plays a significant role in leading
change in schools.
Participants will leave inspired by real-world examples
and equipped with practical ideas to support their own
improvement journeys and approaches to leading change in
their school settings.
This panel showcases the journeys of mathematics education
leaders who have successfully implemented teaching
and learning frameworks that have led to meaningful and
measurable improvements in student engagement and
achievement.
Across diverse school and system contexts, panellists will
share their approaches to leading change, the frameworks
that guided their work, and the professional learning and
cultural shifts that supported sustained impact.
