The N-Framework for Numeracy Across the Curriculum
underpins our approach to embedding key mathematical
knowledge and skills across subject areas at Secondary
School. Through this approach our subject-specific teachers
support students to build meaningful connections for
themselves between mathematics and the real-world across
a range of contexts. Numeracy Across the Curriculum is a
powerful vehicle for developing positive student dispositions
and confidence in mathematics, as well as the critical thinking
and problem-solving skills students need for their pathways

In this session, we will share tips, tricks and time saving
strategies in each of the areas of General Maths. We will
highlight how to enhance student understanding and
retention of key knowledge content, focussing on specific tips
with language, displays and demonstrations. We will focus on
how to best use textbook questions, summary book notes and
past exam questions.
